•    The main spring should be completely unwound before removing the sculpture from the wall.

•    Always tape the spring-belts in place before moving the sculpture. This will save a lot of aggravation when it is time to set the piece up again.

•    Use blue painter’s tape and tape each belt to each wheel and to itself in multiple locations.

•    Remove the bird assemblies before moving the sculpture.
