Featured Artist: Arthur Ganson
Photo: Kyle Ganson © 2005 Arthur Ganson is a kinetic sculptor based in the Boston area. He creates kinetic art with a sense of humor. According to the write up on the MIT Museum site Ganson's "contraptions [are] composed of a range of materials from delicate wire to welded steel and concrete. Most are viewer-activated or driven by electric motors." If you are ever in Boston, a stop at the MIT Museum is always fun. Many of his works are on display there. (Be sure to get good directions because it is a challenging building to find!)
